IT Director-Development and Integration:
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related Programming and Analysis experience in a business environment, (VB, Access, SQL, ODBC, COM, COM+ and .NET). Database design and administration is also a requirement. A college or university degree in computer programming is required. The incumbent must also be a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer and potentially also a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator. At least 2 years of Management Experience is required. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required. The person needs to be able to operate in a busy environment and manage his or her own priorities.

IT Director-Computer Operations & Infrastructure:
This position requires a minimum of 5 years of managing a Cisco, Windows Server, Windows Desktop environment. A college or university degree in computers / technology is also required. The incumbent should also be a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Knowledge of Telecommunications is a definite asset. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required. The person needs to be able to operate in a busy environment and manage his or her own priorities. This position is on call 7/24 to handle emergency situations.

Job Description


As an IT Project manager, you will be responsible for the planning and
ongoing management of various IT projects impacting multiple departments,
spanning 3 months to 2 years in length and having a significant impact to
the business.

You will work in partnership with the Senior IT Directors, and Business
stakeholders to develop plans within an IT project management framework. You
will be responsible for guiding the team through the execution of those
plans, controlling and monitoring execution and providing visibility to
senior management into the progress and status of the projects at all times.

Although working within the IT department, you will be expected to bring a
broader business and people perspective to projects to insure that the
solutions put in place address the business need across technology, people
and process dimensions.

Responsibilities/Qualifications include:

-Coordinate the organization of project activities ensuring that projects
are completed on time and within budget constraints.
-Successfully manage a number of projects simultaneously.
-Act as the primary liaison between all team members assigned to a project,
IT and business
-Coordinate all aspects of project delivery including defining project
scope, specifying deliverables, estimating project duration, effort and
cost, managing project budget, creating detailed project plans and managing
change requests.
-Ensure project success by driving day-to-day operations through the
application of sound project management principles and methodologies.
-Maintain regular communications with active team and business stakeholders
to ensure necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties,
which may impede progress or compromise achievement of project's objectives.
-Maintain a detailed status, activities and issues reports on each project
to present to IT Managers and major project stakeholders.
-Ensure each project team has established meaningful, key metrics that
properly reflect the performance of the team and indicates progress towards
objectives.
-Makes recommendations on project prioritization.
-Provide feedback to IT managers from a post-completion analysis of all
projects.
-Work with the PM Team to define and update standards and processes and
contribute to continuous improvements within the team.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships and manage expectation of
clients and stakeholders through effective communication (written, verbal
and presentation)
- Ability to analyze information of varying quality from disparate sources,
determine the priority and importance of issues, draw focus to the critical
issues and make recommendations




Required Skills and Experience:
-4 to 8 years of corporate project management experience, ideally in a
application development and/or ERP environment
-Proven technical knowledge of related environments, development lifecycles,
and traditional implementation and technical project obstacles
-Conversant in various tools for statistical analysis, management, project
planning, and time tracking including MS Project and MS Excel
-Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills,
including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult
to obtain, complex or ambiguous
-Proven excellent organ
